What can I expect?

 

  • What is it like?
    • If you come for Bible Study at 9:45, you'll choose from meeting with the Adult Class in the Fellowship hall on the railroad side of the building. It's very informal! We also have a class for kids, one for youth, and a nursery as needed.
    • If you come for Worship at 10:45, you'll hear music playing as you are seated. You'll see a brief welcome and announcement video, join in a mix of old hymns and newer contemporary worship. We invite kids for a children's sermon with the pastor before they leave for Kids Church. Seventh grade and older stay in the main service.  We take an offering but invite you to pass the plate until you feel led to support financially. We close with family prayer and praise. You can feel free to leave whenever you need to, but this is a great time to see people being the church to each other.
    • You are likely to be greeted by our 94-year old greeter. She loves her job! We will ask you to fill out a guest card so that we can follow up with you.  
    • If it's the 1st Sunday of the month, you are invited for Potluck. Please stay and get to know some folks over Sunday dinner.
  • What do I wear?
    • We mostly fall in business casual. You wear whatever you are comfortable in because that's what we do!
  • What time is the Spanish Service? ¿A qué hora es el servicio en español?
    • 5:00 PM
  • How can I get connected?
    • Come once, you're a visitor. Come twice, you're family! Make sure we get your name, text number, phone number, and address so we can reach out during the week. Let us know if you have prayer or practical needs we can connect over. You can text Pastor Lori at 559-999-7957.
